Weston Fields and Courts

Since 2006, Warner Larson has been working with the Town of Weston on multiple active recreation and park
projects. These include a new synthetic turf field at Weston High School, a 5-field Little League complex at Burchard Park, renovation of tennis courts and several natural grass fields with new irrigation systems. Alphabet field is a new 3-field natural grass youth soccer configuration that includes a sand slit and underdrain system to maximize the playability of this field located within the 100-year floodplain adjacent to an intermittent stream and wetland. We prepared the Integrated Pest Management program and led the permitting process with Conservation. We are currently working with the Town on another soccer and Little League field to be constructed in 2015.

What I enjoyed working so much with WLI is that they prepare more than just a solid set of design plans, they take ownership and are actively engaged in finding solutions to problems or issues that inevitably arise on any construction project. They were instrumental in opening of the new facility on-time and on-budget.
