Teamed up with Perkins + Will, the new site design by Warner Larson creates a pedestrian-oriented circulation for the new high school integrating the existing Townhall, Police and Fire Stations, and skating rink. A “town green” commons is at the heart of the campus with a pedestrian promenade linking all facilities.

Bringing the Indian’s stadium back to the high school campus, which was previously in the middle school 1.5 miles away, has brought back a real source of pride for Billerica’s sports teams. The new sports stadium is positioned dominantly within the site, converging site amenities like parking and a formal promenade, for improved accessibility. The stadium includes a multi-sport synthetic turf field surrounded by a 6-lane urethane track, 1600-seat bleacher and press box. Additionally, LED sports lightings, restrooms and concession and ticket booths integrated under the bleacher allow for an improved user experience.
